  • AAC/AAAC/ACSR/ACSS/ACCC Conductor Overhead bare conductors is widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels. It has good characteristics such as simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost for the line, large transmission capacity and are also suitable for laying across rivers and valleys where special geographical textures exist.

ACSR – Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced is used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. ACSR offers optimal strength for line design. Variable steel core stranding for desired strength to be achieved without sacrificing ampacity.

ACSR Construction

  1. Aluminum 1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded about a steel core. Standard core wire for ACSR is class A galvanized
  2. Class A core stranding is also available in zinc-5% aluminum-mischmetal alloy coating.
  3. For aluminum-clad (AW) ACSR, please refer to the ACSR/AW catalog sheet
  4. Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the complete cable with grease
  5. ACSR conductor is also available in non-specular.
