How does overhead insulated cable transmit electricity?

Scope of application of 35kV and below overhead insulated cables: it is applicable to copper core, aluminum core or aluminum alloy core weather resistant polychlorinated, poly and crosslinked poly insulated overhead cables for overhead power lines with rated voltage of 35kV and below.

Service characteristics of overhead insulated cables:

(1) The rated voltage is 0.6/1kv, 10kV, 20kV, 35kV.

(2) The cable laying temperature shall not be lower than 0 ℃.

(3) High temperature of cable in case of short circuit (longer duration not exceeding 5S): Poly insulation 160 ℃, cross-linked poly insulation 250 ℃

(4) The long-term allowable working temperature of cable conductor: the polychlorinated insulation shall not exceed 70 ℃, and the cross-linked polychlorinated insulation shall not exceed 90 ℃.

(5) Allowable bending radius of cable: the allowable bending radius of cable shall not be less than the diameter of cylinder used in cable bending test.
