Product classification and functions of power fittings
What are the products of power fittings and what are their functions? Generally, power fittings can be divided into suspension clamps, strain clamps, link fittings, splicing fittings, protection fittings, terminal clamps, T-type clamps, busbar fittings, pull-wire fittings, etc. according to their function and structure; they can be used as electric power according to their purpose. Overhead line fittings and substation fittings. Generally speaking, we are distinguished by performance and use, mainly divided into the following categories:
1. Strain fittings. Also known as fastening hardware or wire clamp. This kind of hardware is mainly used to fasten the terminal of the wire so that it is fixed on the wire-resistant insulator string. It is also used to fix the terminal of the lightning protection wire and anchor the cable. The anchoring hardware bears all the tension of the wire and lightning protection wire.
2. Suspension fittings. Also known as support fittings or suspension clamps. This kind of hardware is mainly used to suspend the wire insulator string (mostly used in linear poles) and to suspend the jumper on the insulator string.
3. Link fittings. Also known as hanging parts. This kind of fittings is used for connecting insulators into strings and connecting fittings and fittings. It bears mechanical loads. Such as hanging ring, hanging plate, ball head hanging ring, U-shaped screw, connecting plate, hook, etc.
4. Splicing fittings. This kind of hardware is specially used for connecting various bare conductors and lightning protection wires. The connection bears the same electrical load as the wire, and most of the connection fittings bear all the tension of the wire or the lightning protection wire, such as the connection pipe and the groove clamp.
5. Protective fittings. This kind of hardware is used to protect wires, insulators, etc., such as the equalizing ring for protecting the insulators, the heavy hammer used to prevent the insulator string from being pulled up and the vibration damper, guard wire, spacer rod, etc. to prevent the wire from vibrating. The picture below shows the vibration damper.
6. Pull wire fittings. It is mainly used for the cable connection of the cable pole tower. It is divided into two types: cable fastening and connection. There are mainly wedge-shaped clamps and tensile pre-twisted wires.
7. Current-carrying fittings. This kind of hardware is used to connect hard and soft bus bars to the outlet terminals of electrical equipment, T-connections of wires, and non-stress-bearing parallel connections, etc. These connections are electrical contacts. Therefore, higher conductivity and contact stability of contact fittings, such as T-shaped clamps, are required.
Our company sells a complete set of overhead line fittings, substation fittings, distribution line fittings, and various accessories and insulators on the line.
