What are the inspection methods for wires and cables?
The inspection of wires and cables is generally divided into factory self inspection, third-party inspection, destination inspection and customer inspection.
Factory inspection
1. the cable manufacturer shall notify the buyer by letter or telex one month before the factory inspection, and the buyer will send engineers to the manufacturer to witness the goods test.
2. the buyer's representative shall have the right to enter the factory and place where the products are manufactured from beginning to end. The Contractor shall provide sufficient convenience for the representative to inspect the tests that the seller must carry out without restriction.
3. the power cable factory shall report to the buyer at any time before the beginning of the manufacturing process of cable equipment and each stage so as to arrange inspection.
4. unless the buyer gives a written notice to exempt the inspection, the goods that have not been satisfactorily inspected and tested shall not be sent from the manufacturer. In any case, these goods can be shipped only after all the tests specified in this specification have been successfully completed.
5. six copies of test report certificate shall be submitted to the buyer before equipment shipment.
Inspection at destination
After the arrival of the goods at the destination, the buyer and the seller shall check the quantity of the packages received at the destination according to the bill of lading, and inspect the damage caused by the packages during shipment and unloading.
According to the inspection results, if the quantity and appearance of the goods are inconsistent with the contract, the Seller shall correct or replace such goods for the buyer free of charge according to the buyer's instructions.
