0.6kv and below overhead insulated cable working temperature
Use characteristics of overhead insulated cables of 0.6kv and below
Rated voltage Uo/Uo is 0.6/KV
The long-term allowable humidity of the cable conductor does not exceed:
PE, PVC insulated aerial cables: 70℃;
PE insulated overhead cable: 90℃.
When short-circuit (the longest duration does not exceed 5 seconds), the maximum temperature of the cable conductor should not exceed: XLPE insulated overhead cable: 160℃;
PE insulated overhead cable: 130°C; XLPE insulated overhead cable: 250°C. The ambient temperature during cable laying should not be lower than -20°C. Cable allowable bending radius:
When the cable outer diameter (D) is less than 25mm, it should not be less than 4 times the cable outer diameter;
When the cable outer diameter (D) is equal to or greater than 25mm, it should not be less than 6 times.
When the cable is used in an AC system, the rated voltage of the cable should be at least equal to the rated voltage of the system; when the cable uses a grounded DC system, the rated voltage of the system should not be greater than 1.5 times the rated voltage of the cable.
